  1. 2.64

    रागद्वेषवियुक्तैस्तु विषयानिन्द्रियैश्चरन्

    adhigachchhati — attains

    But one who moves among the objects of sense with the senses freed from craving and aversion, self-governed, comes to peace.

  2. 2.71

    विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः

    adhigachchhati — attains

    The one who has given up all desires and lives without longing, without “mine” and without “I” — that one comes to peace.

  3. 4.39

    श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानं तत्परः संयतेन्द्रियः

    adhigachchhati — attains

    One who has faith, who is intent, whose senses are restrained, gains knowledge — and having gained it, comes quickly to the highest peace.

    संन्यासस्तु महाबाहो दुःखमाप्तुमयोगतः

    adhigachchhati — goes

    But renunciation is hard to reach without yoga, mighty-armed one. The sage joined to yoga comes to Brahman before long.

    योऽन्तःसुखोऽन्तरारामस्तथान्तर्ज्योतिरेव यः

    adhigachchhati — attains

    Whoever is happy within, at rest within, and lit from within — that one who practises reaches the peace of Brahman.

  6. 6.15

    युञ्जन्नेवं सदाऽऽत्मानं योगी नियतमानसः

    adhigachchhati — attains

    Keeping the self constantly so joined, the practitioner with a disciplined mind reaches the peace that is the highest release, and dwells in me.

    नान्यं गुणेभ्यः कर्तारं यदा द्रष्टानुपश्यति

    adhigachchhati — attain

    When one who sees perceives no doer other than the strands, and knows what is beyond them, that one reaches my own state.

  8. 18.49

    असक्तबुद्धिः सर्वत्र जितात्मा विगतस्पृहः

    adhigachchhati — attain

    One whose understanding is unattached everywhere, who has mastered themselves and is free of longing, reaches by renunciation the highest state beyond action.
