देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा
dehinaḥ — of the embodied
As a person passes from childhood to youth to age, so the embodied one passes from body to body. The steady are not confused by this.

अन्तवन्त इमे देहा नित्यस्योक्ताः शरीरिणः
dehāḥ — material bodies
These bodies have an end. The one who wears them is said to be eternal, indestructible, beyond measure. Therefore fight.

देही नित्यमवध्योऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत

The one who dwells in the body of every being cannot be killed. So do not grieve for any creature.
