    वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि

    naraḥ — a person

    As a person lays aside worn-out clothes and puts on new ones, so the embodied one lays aside worn-out bodies and takes up others.

    शक्नोतीहैव यः सोढुं प्राक्शरीरविमोक्षणात्

    naraḥ — person

    One who can withstand the surge of desire and anger here, before leaving the body, is joined — and that one is happy.

    तुल्यनिन्दास्तुतिर्मौनी सन्तुष्टो येनकेनचित्

    the same under blame and praise, quiet, content with whatever comes, without a fixed dwelling, steady in mind — such a devoted person is dear to me.
