vidyā — divine knowledge
In a learned and humble brahmin, in a cow, an elephant, a dog, and one who eats a dog, the learned see the same.

तं विद्याद् दुःखसंयोगवियोगं योगसंज्ञितम्
vidyāt — you should know
know that to be yoga: the parting from union with pain. It should be practised with resolve, and without discouragement.

सर्गाणामादिरन्तश्च मध्यं चैवाहमर्जुन

I am the beginning, the middle and the end of creations, Arjuna. Among knowledges, the knowledge of the self; and among those who argue, the argument.
