    नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सतः

    tattva — of the truth

    What is not, never comes to be; what is, never ceases to be. Those who see the truth have seen the end of both.

    तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः

    tattva-vit — the knower of the Truth

    One who knows the truth about the strands and their workings, mighty-armed one — knowing that it is the strands acting upon the strands — is not caught.

    तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया

    tat — the Truth

    Learn it by bowing down, by asking, by serving. Those who know will teach you.
