    तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः

    tāni — them

    Having brought them all under control, one should sit joined, intent on me. For the one whose senses are mastered, wisdom is firmly established.

    बहूनि मे व्यतीतानि जन्मानि तव चार्जुन

    tāni — them

    Many births of mine have passed, Arjuna, and of yours. I know them all; you do not.

    सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम्

    At the end of an age all beings merge into my nature, son of Kunti; and at the beginning of the next I send them forth again.

    And these actions do not bind me, Arjuna. I am seated as though indifferent, unattached to them.
