    क्रोधाद्भवति संमोहः संमोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः

    praṇaśhyati — one is ruined

    From anger, confusion. From confusion, memory fails. When memory fails, discernment is lost — and when discernment is lost, a person is lost.

    यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति

    praṇaśhyāmi — lost

    One who sees me everywhere and sees everything in me — I am never lost to that person, nor is that person lost to me.

    क्षिप्रं भवति धर्मात्मा शश्वच्छान्तिं निगच्छति

    pratijānīhi — declare

    Such a person quickly becomes upright and reaches lasting peace. Be certain of this, son of Kunti: one devoted to me is never lost.
