Then, filled with wonder, his hair standing on end, Arjuna bowed his head to the god, joined his palms, and spoke.

एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं केशवस्य कृताञ्जलिर्वेपमानः किरीटी

Hearing these words of Krishna, Arjuna joined his palms, trembling, bowed down, and spoke again — stammering, in great fear.

तस्मात्प्रणम्य प्रणिधाय कायं प्रसादये त्वामहमीशमीड्यम्

So I bow down, I prostrate my body, and I ask your grace, lord worthy of worship. As a father bears with a son, a friend with a friend, a lover with the beloved — bear with me.
