पश्यैतां पाण्डुपुत्राणामाचार्य महतीं चमूम्

Look, teacher, at this mighty army of the sons of Pandu, arrayed by your own gifted pupil, the son of Drupada.

भीष्मद्रोणप्रमुखतः सर्वेषां च महीक्षिताम्

in full view of Bhishma and Drona and all the kings of the earth, and said: Son of Pritha, look at these Kurus gathered here.

न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम्

And yet beings do not rest in me. Look at my mastery: I sustain all beings, and I am not in them.

Behold my forms, son of Pritha, by hundreds and by thousands — of many kinds, divine, of many colours and shapes.

पश्यादित्यान्वसून्रुद्रानश्िवनौ मरुतस्तथा

Behold the sons of Aditi, the Vasus, the Rudras, the twin Ashvins and the winds. Behold many wonders never seen before.

इहैकस्थं जगत्कृत्स्नं पश्याद्य सचराचरम्

See here, gathered in one place, the whole world, moving and unmoving — and whatever else you wish to see, in this body of mine.

न तु मां शक्यसे द्रष्टुमनेनैव स्वचक्षुषा
paśhya — behold
But you cannot see me with these eyes of yours. I give you divine sight: behold.
