निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः

Free of expectation, mind and self restrained, having let go of every claim of ownership, performing only the action of the body — such a person takes on nothing.

योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः

Joined to yoga, pure in nature, self-mastered, senses conquered, seeing the self in all beings — such a person acts and is not stained.

सर्वकर्माणि मनसा संन्यस्यास्ते सुखं वशी

Having renounced all actions with the mind, the self-governed one dwells at ease. The embodied one in this city of nine gates neither acts nor causes action.

अभ्यासेऽप्यसमर्थोऽसि मत्कर्मपरमो भव

If you are unable even to practise, then make my work your highest aim. Doing what is to be done for my sake, you will reach perfection.

Better your own work done imperfectly than another's done well. One who does the work born of their own nature takes on no fault.
