5.7 Acting without being stained Krishna speaks
योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः
सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते
yoga-yukto viśhuddhātmā vijitātmā jitendriyaḥ
sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate
Joined to yoga, pure in nature, self-mastered, senses conquered, seeing the self in all beings — such a person acts and is not stained.

Acting, and not stained by it.
The conditions are listed — joined, pure, self-mastered, senses conquered — and then the one that carries the rest: seeing the self in all beings.
That is what makes action non-staining, and it is a perceptual claim rather than a moral one. Nothing about which acts are performed has changed.
