अथ व्यवस्थितान् दृष्ट्वा धार्तराष्ट्रान्कपिध्वजः

hṛiṣhīkeśham — to Shree Krishna

Then, seeing Dhritarashtra's sons arrayed and the weapons about to fall, Arjuna — whose banner bears the monkey — raised his bow and spoke to Krishna.

एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशं गुडाकेशः परन्तप

hṛiṣhīkeśham — to Shree Krishna, the master of the mind and senses

Having spoken this way to Krishna, Arjuna said, “I will not fight,” and fell silent.

संन्यासस्य महाबाहो तत्त्वमिच्छामि वेदितुम्

hṛiṣhīkeśha — Krishna, the Lord of the senses
