एषा तेऽभिहिता सांख्ये बुद्धिर्योगे त्विमां श्रृणु
buddhiḥ yoge — by the yog of intellect
What I have told you so far is by way of analysis. Now hear it by way of practice: with this understanding you will cut the bonds of action.

कायेन मनसा बुद्ध्या केवलैरिन्द्रियैरपि
buddhyā — with the intellect
With the body, the mind, the understanding, and even with the senses alone, those who practise act — letting go of attachment, for the purifying of the self.

शनैः शनैरुपरमेद् बुद्ध्या धृतिगृहीतया
buddhyā — by intellect
little by little one should come to rest, by an understanding held firm — the mind fixed in the self, and thinking of nothing at all.
