Yourself, and Bhishma, and Karna, and Kripa who is unconquered in battle; Ashvatthama, Vikarna, and the son of Somadatta too;

परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान्

You are the supreme Brahman, the supreme abode, the highest purifier; the eternal divine person, the first of gods, unborn, all-pervading.

आख्याहि मे को भवानुग्ररूपो नमोऽस्तु ते देववर प्रसीद
bhavān — you
Tell me who you are, you of fearful form. I bow to you; have mercy, best of gods. I wish to know you as you are at the first, for I do not understand what you are doing.
