10.12 Arjuna answers in praise Arjuna speaks

परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान्
पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यमादिदेवमजं विभुम्

paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣhaṁ śhāśhvataṁ divyam ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum

You are the supreme Brahman, the supreme abode, the highest purifier; the eternal divine person, the first of gods, unborn, all-pervading.

Explanation

And then Arjuna answers, in praise.

Supreme Brahman, supreme abode, highest purifier, eternal divine person, first of gods, unborn, all-pervading.

It is the first time in the book he responds to a teaching with worship rather than a question. Something has shifted, and chapter 11 is what it leads to.
