11.31 Tell me who you are Arjuna speaks

आख्याहि मे को भवानुग्ररूपो नमोऽस्तु ते देववर प्रसीद
विज्ञातुमिच्छामि भवन्तमाद्यं न हि प्रजानामि तव प्रवृत्तिम्

ākhyāhi me ko bhavān ugra-rūpo
namo ’stu te deva-vara prasīda
vijñātum ichchhāmi bhavantam ādyaṁ
na hi prajānāmi tava pravṛittim

Tell me who you are, you of fearful form. I bow to you; have mercy, best of gods. I wish to know you as you are at the first, for I do not understand what you are doing.

Explanation

Tell me who you are.

I bow to you; have mercy. I do not understand what you are doing.

He asked to see, and seeing has not explained anything. The vision has produced no knowledge at all — only the need to be told in words, which is what he had ten chapters of.
