आपूर्यमाणमचलप्रतिष्ठं समुद्रमापः प्रविशन्ति यद्वत्
āpnoti — attains
As rivers enter the ocean, which is filled and yet unmoved at its foundation, so all desires enter the one who is at peace.
- 3.19
तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर
āpnoti — attains
So do the work that falls to you, always, without attachment. Acting unattached, a person reaches the highest.
- 4.21
निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः
āpnoti — incurs
Free of expectation, mind and self restrained, having let go of every claim of ownership, performing only the action of the body — such a person takes on nothing.

युक्तः कर्मफलं त्यक्त्वा शान्तिमाप्नोति नैष्ठिकीम्
āpnoti — attains
One who is joined, having given up the fruit of action, reaches lasting peace. One who is not joined, driven by desire and attached to the fruit, is bound.

सिद्धिं प्राप्तो यथा ब्रह्म तथाप्नोति निबोध मे
