7.28 Those who worship with resolve Krishna speaks
येषां त्वन्तगतं पापं जनानां पुण्यकर्मणाम्
ते द्वन्द्वमोहनिर्मुक्ता भजन्ते मां दृढव्रताः
yeṣhāṁ tvanta-gataṁ pāpaṁ janānāṁ puṇya-karmaṇām
te dvandva-moha-nirmuktā bhajante māṁ dṛiḍha-vratāḥ
But those whose wrongdoing has come to an end, whose actions are good, freed from the confusion of opposites, worship me with resolve.
Explanation
Those who get out, and how it is put.
Wrongdoing come to an end, actions good, freed of the confusion of opposites — they worship him with resolve.
dṛḍha-vratāḥ, firm in their vow. The order is worth noticing: the freedom from opposites comes before the resolute worship, not as its reward.
