7.2 Nothing further to be known Krishna speaks
ज्ञानं तेऽहं सविज्ञानमिदं वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः
यज्ज्ञात्वा नेह भूयोऽन्यज्ज्ञातव्यमवशिष्यते
jñānaṁ te ’haṁ sa-vijñānam idaṁ vakṣhyāmyaśheṣhataḥ
yaj jñātvā neha bhūyo ’nyaj jñātavyam-avaśhiṣhyate
I will tell you this knowledge in full, together with what is realised through it, knowing which nothing further remains to be known here.
Explanation
Knowledge, and what is realised through it.
jñāna together with vijñāna — the knowing and the realising. The distinction runs through the whole chapter.
And the promise is total: knowing it, nothing further remains. Which is worth holding against 7.26, where the chapter withdraws the symmetry and says no one knows him at all.
