6.28 Touching Brahman Krishna speaks

युञ्जन्नेवं सदाऽऽत्मानं योगी विगतकल्मषः
सुखेन ब्रह्मसंस्पर्शमत्यन्तं सुखमश्नुते

yuñjann evaṁ sadātmānaṁ yogī vigata-kalmaṣhaḥ
sukhena brahma-sansparśham atyantaṁ sukham aśhnute

Keeping the self constantly so joined, freed of faults, the practitioner easily reaches the boundless happiness of touching Brahman.

Explanation

Easily, which is a surprising word here.

sukhena — the practitioner freed of faults reaches the boundless happiness of touching Brahman easily.

The chapter has just asked for solitude, posture, moderation and endless patience, and then calls the result easy. Both are true in sequence: the difficulty is all in the approach.
