3.31 Without complaint Krishna speaks

ये मे मतमिदं नित्यमनुतिष्ठन्ति मानवाः
श्रद्धावन्तोऽनसूयन्तो मुच्यन्ते तेऽपि कर्मभिः

ye me matam idaṁ nityam anutiṣhṭhanti mānavāḥ
śhraddhāvanto ’nasūyanto muchyante te ’pi karmabhiḥ

Those who live by this teaching of mine, with faith and without complaint, are freed from the bondage of action.

Explanation

With faith and without complaint.

anasūyantaḥ — the same word chapter 9 uses for what qualified Arjuna to hear the king of secrets.

What is asked for is not agreement or understanding. It is the absence of a sneer, which the Gita treats as the one disposition that makes teaching impossible.
