3.30 Surrender it all, and fight Krishna speaks
मयि सर्वाणि कर्माणि संन्यस्याध्यात्मचेतसा
निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वरः
mayi sarvāṇi karmāṇi sannyasyādhyātma-chetasā
nirāśhīr nirmamo bhūtvā yudhyasva vigata-jvaraḥ
Surrendering all your actions to me, your thoughts resting on what is highest, free of longing and free of “mine” — fight.
Explanation
Surrender it all — and then one word.
Actions surrendered, thoughts on what is highest, free of longing and of mine. And then: fight.
yudhya. The same construction 8.7 will use. Every condition in the verse is interior, and the thing to be done is the thing he was already standing there to do.
