2.54 Arjuna asks what it looks like Arjuna speaks

स्थितप्रज्ञस्य का भाषा समाधिस्थस्य केशव
स्थितधीः किं प्रभाषेत किमासीत व्रजेत किम्

sthita-prajñasya kā bhāṣhā samādhi-sthasya keśhava
sthita-dhīḥ kiṁ prabhāṣheta kim āsīta vrajeta kim

What is one of steady wisdom like, Krishna, one established in stillness? How does such a person speak?

Explanation

Arjuna asks what it looks like from outside.

What is such a person like? How does such a person speak?

It is the question he asks whenever the book reaches a description of the free state — at 6.21, 12.1, 14.21. He wants something recognisable, and the Gita always answers.
