13.26 And those who only heard Krishna speaks

अन्ये त्वेवमजानन्तः श्रुत्वाऽन्येभ्य उपासते
तेऽपि चातितरन्त्येव मृत्युं श्रुतिपरायणाः

anye tv evam ajānantaḥ śhrutvānyebhya upāsate
te ’pi chātitaranty eva mṛityuṁ śhruti-parāyaṇāḥ

And others, not knowing this, hear it from others and worship. They too cross beyond death, holding to what they have heard.

Explanation

And those who simply heard it from someone else.

Not knowing this, they hear it from others and worship — and they too cross beyond death, holding to what they have heard.

This is the widest door in the chapter. No meditation, no reasoning, no realisation: hearsay held onto faithfully is granted the same outcome as the other three.
