13.25 Three ways of seeing Krishna speaks

ध्यानेनात्मनि पश्यन्ति केचिदात्मानमात्मना
अन्ये सांख्येन योगेन कर्मयोगेन चापरे

dhyānenātmani paśhyanti kechid ātmānam ātmanā
anye sānkhyena yogena karma-yogena chāpare

Some see the self in the self by meditation; some by the way of reasoning; and some by the way of action.

Explanation

Three roads, listed without ranking.

Meditation, reasoning, and action. Each is simply named as a way some people see the self in the self.

Chapters 5 and 12 both worked hard to rank two of these. Here all three get a single line each and no preference at all — and the next verse adds a fourth that asks for less than any of them.
