य एवं वेत्ति पुरुषं प्रकृतिं च गुणैःसह
सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि न स भूयोऽभिजायते
ya evaṁ vetti puruṣhaṁ prakṛitiṁ cha guṇaiḥ saha
sarvathā vartamāno ’pi na sa bhūyo ’bhijāyate
One who thus knows the person and nature together with the strands is not born again, however they live.

One who knows the person and nature together with the strands is not born again — sarvathā vartamāno 'pi, in whatever manner they are living.
An extraordinary clause to leave undefended. The chapter has just spent twelve verses defining knowledge as good conduct, and now says the knowing itself settles it regardless.
