11.4 If you think it can be seen Arjuna speaks

मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो
योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयाऽत्मानमव्ययम्

manyase yadi tach chhakyaṁ mayā draṣhṭum iti prabho
yogeśhvara tato me tvaṁ darśhayātmānam avyayam

If you think it can be seen by me, lord, master of yoga, then show me your imperishable self.

If you think it can be seen by me.

The conditional is Arjuna's own, and it is the last moment of caution before the vision.

He leaves the judgement to Krishna — if you think — which makes what happens next something he asked for and was granted, not something done to him.
