lelihyase grasamānaḥ samantāl

tejobhir āpūrya jagat samagraṁ
bhāsas tavogrāḥ pratapanti viṣhṇo

You lick up and devour all the worlds on every side with your flaming mouths. Your terrible light fills the whole world with burning, Vishnu.

Explanation

You lick up all the worlds.

lelihyase — the verb is a tongue moving over something. Your terrible light fills the whole world with burning.

It is the most physical verb in the chapter, and it is the last thing Arjuna says before he asks the question. The description has run out of anywhere else to go.
