10.8 The wise worship with feeling Krishna speaks
अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते
इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः
ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ
I am the origin of all; from me everything proceeds. Knowing this, the wise worship me with feeling.
Explanation
Everything proceeds from me.
And knowing this, the wise worship him bhāva-samanvitāḥ — with feeling, endowed with it.
Not correctly, not thoroughly. The response the chapter wants from its metaphysics is affective, which is why the four verses that follow describe delight rather than doctrine.
