10.18 Your words are nectar Arjuna speaks
विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन
भूयः कथय तृप्तिर्हि श्रृण्वतो नास्ति मेऽमृतम्
vistareṇātmano yogaṁ vibhūtiṁ cha janārdana
bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛiptir hi śhṛiṇvato nāsti me ’mṛitam
Tell me again, and in detail, of your power and your glories. I am not sated by hearing them; your words are nectar to me.
Explanation
I am not sated by hearing them.
nāsti me tṛptiḥ — and your words are nectar.
The man who could not lift his bow in chapter 1 is now asking for more. Whatever the Gita has done to him by this point, the evidence for it is appetite.
