10.13 All the seers say it Arjuna speaks

आहुस्त्वामृषयः सर्वे देवर्षिर्नारदस्तथा
असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे

āhus tvām ṛiṣhayaḥ sarve devarṣhir nāradas tathā
asito devalo vyāsaḥ svayaṁ chaiva bravīṣhi me

All the seers say it of you — Narada, Asita, Devala, Vyasa — and you yourself tell me so.

Explanation

He cites his sources.

Narada, Asita, Devala, Vyasa — and you yourself tell me so.

Characteristically careful. Even in the middle of praise he distinguishes what he has heard from the tradition from what he is being told now, and lists both. Vyasa is the author of the poem he is standing in.
