तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः

One who knows the truth about the strands and their workings, mighty-armed one — knowing that it is the strands acting upon the strands — is not caught.

One who knows the truth thinks, “I do nothing at all” — while seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, moving, sleeping, breathing,

vartante — let them be so engaged
speaking, letting go, taking hold, opening and closing the eyes — holding that it is the senses moving among their objects.
