स एवायं मया तेऽद्य योगः प्रोक्तः पुरातनः
uttamam — supreme
This same ancient yoga I declare to you today, because you are devoted to me and my friend — and because it is the deepest of secrets.

राजविद्या राजगुह्यं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम्
uttamam — highest
This is the king of knowledge, the king of secrets, the highest purifier. It can be known directly, it accords with what is right, it is easy to practise and it does not perish.

अमी च त्वां धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्राः सर्वे सहैवावनिपालसङ्घैः
uttama-aṅgaiḥ — heads
And there the sons of Dhritarashtra, all of them, with the hosts of kings, and Bhishma and Drona and Karna too, and the chief warriors of our own side,

uttama-aṅgaiḥ — by the head
rush into your mouths, terrible with their teeth and dreadful to see. Some hang caught between your teeth, their heads crushed to powder.

When one who bears a body meets its end while clarity prevails, that one goes to the spotless worlds of those who know.

Even these actions should be done having let go of attachment and of their fruits. This is my settled view.
