श्वशुरान्सुहृदश्चैव सेनयोरुभयोरपि

Seeing all these kinsmen standing there, the son of Kunti was overcome with deep compassion, and in sorrow he said this.

मय्यावेश्य मनो ये मां नित्ययुक्ता उपासते

Those who fix their minds on me and worship me, always steady, with the highest faith — I hold them to be the best joined.

श्रद्धया परया तप्तं तपस्तत्ित्रविधं नरैः

parayā — transcendental

This threefold austerity, practised with the highest faith by those who seek no fruit and are steady, is said to be of clarity.
