    य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम्

    manyate — thinks

    Whoever thinks this is the slayer, and whoever thinks it is slain, neither of them understands. It does not kill and it is not killed.

    प्रकृतेः क्रियमाणानि गुणैः कर्माणि सर्वशः

    All actions are carried out by the strands of nature. But one deluded by the sense of self thinks: I am the doer.
