    देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा

    dehinaḥ — of the embodied

    As a person passes from childhood to youth to age, so the embodied one passes from body to body. The steady are not confused by this.

    विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिनः

    dehinaḥ — for the embodied

    For the one who merely abstains, the objects fall away but the taste for them remains. Even that taste goes when the highest is seen.
