18.74 My hair stands on end Sanjaya speaks

इत्यहं वासुदेवस्य पार्थस्य च महात्मनः
संवादमिममश्रौषमद्भुतं रोमहर्षणम्

ity ahaṁ vāsudevasya pārthasya cha mahātmanaḥ
saṁvādam imam aśhrauṣham adbhutaṁ roma-harṣhaṇam

So I have heard this wonderful dialogue between Krishna and the great-souled Arjuna, and my hair stands on end.

Explanation

My hair stands on end.

Sanjaya, speaking again — and using the same phrase the text used for Arjuna at 1.29 and 11.14.

The narrator has been listening the whole time. Whatever happened between those two men in the chariot, someone else was changed by overhearing it.
