18.69 No one dearer Krishna speaks

न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्िचन्मे प्रियकृत्तमः
भविता न च मे तस्मादन्यः प्रियतरो भुवि

na cha tasmān manuṣhyeṣhu kaśhchin me priya-kṛittamaḥ
bhavitā na cha me tasmād anyaḥ priyataro bhuvi

No one among people is dearer to me than that one, and no one will be.

Explanation

No one dearer, and no one will be.

The superlative is unqualified and covers the future as well as the past.

It is the strongest thing said about any human being in the book, and it is said about whoever passes it on — not about the sage, the renouncer or the warrior.
