14.26 Devotion as the way past Krishna speaks
मां च योऽव्यभिचारेण भक्ितयोगेन सेवते
स गुणान्समतीत्यैतान् ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्पते
māṁ cha yo ’vyabhichāreṇa bhakti-yogena sevate
sa guṇān samatītyaitān brahma-bhūyāya kalpate
And one who serves me with unwavering devotion, going beyond these strands, is fit for the state of Brahman.
Explanation
And then the road there is devotion.
After twenty-five verses of taxonomy, the way past the strands is given as unwavering service — which is chapter 12's answer arriving inside chapter 14's argument.
The Gita does this repeatedly and without embarrassment. The analysis is real and the way through it is not more analysis.
