12.4 They too arrive Krishna speaks

संनियम्येन्द्रियग्रामं सर्वत्र समबुद्धयः
ते प्राप्नुवन्ति मामेव सर्वभूतहिते रताः

sanniyamyendriya-grāmaṁ sarvatra sama-buddhayaḥ te prāpnuvanti mām eva sarva-bhūta-hite ratāḥ

restraining all the senses, even-minded everywhere — they too reach me, intent on the good of all beings.

Explanation

They too reach me.

The verse completes 12.3 and settles what the ranking is not. Those who take the formless path — restraining the senses, even-minded, working for the good of all beings — arrive at the same place.

So the answer to Arjuna's question is not that one road leads home and the other does not. Both do. What differs is stated in the next verse, and only there.
