11.47 No one before you has seen it Krishna speaks
मया प्रसन्नेन तवार्जुनेदं रूपं परं दर्शितमात्मयोगात्
तेजोमयं विश्वमनन्तमाद्यं यन्मे त्वदन्येन न दृष्टपूर्वम्
mayā prasannena tavārjunedaṁ
rūpaṁ paraṁ darśhitam ātma-yogāt
tejo-mayaṁ viśhvam anantam ādyaṁ
yan me tvad anyena na dṛiṣhṭa-pūrvam
Out of grace toward you, Arjuna, I have shown you by my own power this highest form — radiant, universal, endless, primal — which no one before you has seen.
Explanation
No one before you has seen it.
Out of grace — prasannena — shown by his own power: radiant, universal, endless, primal.
The chapter is establishing the vision's uniqueness at exactly the moment it is being withdrawn. Nobody else has seen this, and the one who did wants it to stop.
