11.34 They are already killed Krishna speaks

द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं च कर्णं तथाऽन्यानपि योधवीरान्
मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठा युध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान्

droṇaṁ cha bhīṣhmaṁ cha jayadrathaṁ cha
karṇaṁ tathānyān api yodha-vīrān
mayā hatāṁs tvaṁ jahi mā vyathiṣhṭhā
yudhyasva jetāsi raṇe sapatnān

Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna and the other warrior heroes — they are already killed by me. Kill them; do not falter. Fight. You will conquer your enemies in battle.

Explanation

They are already killed by me.

Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna — named individually, as they were named in chapter 1's catalogue.

Then four imperatives: kill them, do not falter, fight, you will conquer. It is the bluntest passage in the Gita, and it arrives immediately after the most terrifying one.
