11.2 I have heard it in detail Arjuna speaks

भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया
त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम्

bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṁ śhrutau vistaraśho mayā
tvattaḥ kamala-patrākṣha māhātmyam api chāvyayam

I have heard from you in detail of the coming and going of beings, lotus-eyed one, and of your imperishable greatness.

Explanation

I have heard it in detail.

The coming and going of beings, and your imperishable greatness — all of it received.

He is accounting for what he has been given before asking for something else. The chapter is careful to establish that the vision is not needed for understanding; ten chapters have already done that.
