    न प्रहृष्येत्प्रियं प्राप्य नोद्विजेत्प्राप्य चाप्रियम्

    sthira-buddhiḥ — steady intellect

    One should not exult on getting what is pleasant, nor shrink from what is not. Steady in understanding, unconfused, knowing Brahman, one is established in Brahman.

    शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मनः

    sthiram — steadfast

    Having set a firm seat in a clean place, neither too high nor too low, spread with cloth, deerskin and kusha grass,
