When a family is destroyed, its ancient traditions perish; and when tradition is lost, disorder overtakes the whole family.
- 4.2
एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदुः
naṣhṭaḥ — lost
So it was received, handed from one to the next, and the royal sages knew it. But with the long passage of time, that yoga was lost in this world.
- 18.73
नष्टो मोहः स्मृतिर्लब्धा त्वत्प्रसादान्मयाच्युत
naṣhṭaḥ — dispelled
My confusion is gone and I have regained my memory, by your grace, unfailing one. I stand firm; my doubts are gone. I will do as you say.
