18.31 Grasping it wrongly Krishna speaks
यया धर्ममधर्मं च कार्यं चाकार्यमेव च
अयथावत्प्रजानाति बुद्धिः सा पार्थ राजसी
yayā dharmam adharmaṁ cha kāryaṁ chākāryam eva cha
ayathāvat prajānāti buddhiḥ sā pārtha rājasī
The understanding by which one wrongly grasps what is right and what is not, and what should be done and what should not, is of restlessness.

The middle grade again, and again it is not stupidity. It is a functioning judgement that reaches the wrong conclusion — which is a fair description of Arjuna in chapter 1, arguing well and sitting down.
