13.29 One does not harm oneself Krishna speaks
समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम्
न हिनस्त्यात्मनाऽऽत्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम्
samaṁ paśhyan hi sarvatra samavasthitam īśhvaram
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṁ tato yāti parāṁ gatim
For seeing the lord present equally everywhere, one does not harm oneself by oneself, and so reaches the highest.
Explanation
One does not harm oneself by oneself.
That is the reason given for seeing the lord equally everywhere: na hinasty ātmanātmānam.
Not that harming others is forbidden. That once you have seen this, harming another is harming yourself — the same identity 16.18 used to explain contempt, and 17.6 used to explain self-torture.
