1.23 I want to look at them Arjuna speaks

योत्स्यमानानवेक्षेऽहं य एतेऽत्र समागताः
धार्तराष्ट्रस्य दुर्बुद्धेर्युद्धे प्रियचिकीर्षवः

yotsyamānān avekṣhe ’haṁ ya ete ’tra samāgatāḥ
dhārtarāṣhṭrasya durbuddher yuddhe priya-chikīrṣhavaḥ

I want to look at those gathered here to fight, come to do the bidding of Dhritarashtra's ill-minded son.

Explanation

He says it again, and adds a judgement.

Those gathered to fight, come to do the bidding of Dhritarashtra's ill-minded son.

At this point Arjuna is entirely clear about who is in the wrong. Everything he says in the next twenty verses will be true alongside this, which is what makes the chapter a genuine dilemma rather than a change of mind.
