1.14 The chariot with white horses Sanjaya speaks
ततः श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्ते महति स्यन्दने स्थितौ
माधवः पाण्डवश्चैव दिव्यौ शङ्खौ प्रदध्मतुः
tataḥ śhvetairhayairyukte mahati syandane sthitau
mādhavaḥ pāṇḍavaśhchaiva divyau śhaṅkhau pradadhmatuḥ
Then, standing in their great chariot yoked to white horses, Krishna and Arjuna blew their divine conches.

The two are introduced together, in one vehicle, as a pair — which is how they will stay for the rest of the book. Every word of the Gita is spoken between these two men standing in the same chariot.
